Summer (very original…)

The light rays of sun,
Touched the grass
Making all the dew
Shimmer like glass

The thick summer air
Sweet on my senses
What I would give,
At all the expenses

The flowers unfurled
The sun rose high
Heat beating on my skin
As winter became shy.

    I love this poem Virginia,
You have a lovely gift here.
I can’t wait for some more.
